From online reviews to customer feedback at markets we think we nailed the humble shower cap as a luxury and eco friendly reusable item. So I decided to enter our organic cotton kids cap into the 2025 Clean+ Conscious Awards .

Honestly, I didn’t realise how handy a kids’ shower cap would be until we started using this one. It fits really well, stays put without being too tight and actually keeps my daughter’s hair dry. I love that it’s made from organic cotton and not that awful crunchy plastic you normally see with shower caps. It feels soft, looks adorable and holds up beautifully even with regular use. I really admire how much thought Jacinta has put into every part of this product and her business. The fact that she’s using certified organic and OEKO-TEX compliant fabrics and having everything sewn locally in Melbourne speaks volumes. I also love that she’s repurposing fabric scraps into tags and bows and using recycled cardboard for packaging. It’s not just about ticking the sustainability box, it feels like she’s genuinely trying to do better and as a fellow mum, I really respect that!

We absolutely loved this shower cap- especially my two girls! It’s incredibly soft and comfortable on their scalps and the organic cotton lining is gentle even for sensitive skin. The water-based urethane coating on the outside actually works- it kept their hair dry with no leaks or slipping and the fun raindrop print made it feel like a treat rather than a chore to wear. It’s held up so well after multiple uses and washes, which makes it feel like a truly sustainable, long-term swap from the usual disposable plastic caps. This brand really stands out in its commitment to doing things thoughtfully. The shower cap is made in Melbourne using GOTS-certified organic cotton and OEKO-TEX compliant materials, which is incredibly rare and reassuring for a kids’ product. I also loved learning that the laminated fabric is sourced from reputable suppliers with strong sustainability credentials- there’s clearly a lot of care taken in every stage of production, right down to participating in local Australian Made events and campaigns!

Such a super cute design! I love that it is made from laminated GOTS certified cotton, but is also waterproof and washable! I absolutely love that they are made here in Australia! It worked well, although my daughter has a lot of hair, so I tested it instead :)! It kept my hair dry and I love that they eliminate using throw-away plastic caps. I also love that they have a zero waste policy and use offcuts for tags etc.
